PAYMENT, REFUND & CHANGE OF DATE POLICY:
PAYMENTS:
* All packages require a non refundable deposit of not less than $200.00 at the time the wedding contract is signed.
* Wedding is not confirmed or placed on the schedule until this agreement is signed and the deposit is made.
* Packages on beaches that require permits must pay the entire permit fee in advance plus the LABW deposit
* Credit card, cash or PayPal are acceptable forms of payment. Checks may be used where sufficient time is available to clear the funds.
* Any checks that are returned to LABW insufficient will be charged a 100.00 processing fee.
* No checks, money orders or certified checks are allowed FOR FINAL PAYMENTS.
* All final payments are complete, final and non refundable.
REFUNDS:
* The Wedding Couple may cancel this Agreement at any time up to 90 days prior to the Commencement Date by providing written notice of
such election to LABW at 311 N. Robertson Blvd. #771, Beverly Hills CA 90211.
The refund schedule that follows will apply to all cancellations.
* The original deposit is NON REFUNDABLE but may be used within one year from cancellation.
* Beach Permit Fees take up to 90 days to be refunded and are not refundable within 30 days of the event or after the date of the event has
passed.
Refund Schedule:
* 90 Days prior to the Commencement Date; 50% of contract amount and any expenses incurred in good faith by LABW in preparation for the
wedding.
* 60 to 89 Days prior to the Commencement Date; 60% of the amount and any expenses incurred in good faith by LABW in preparation for the
wedding.
* 31 to 59 Days prior to the Commencement Date; 75% of the amount and any expenses incurred in good faith by LABW in preparation for the
wedding.
* 30 Days prior to Commencement Date; 100% of the amount and any expenses incurred in good faith by LABW in preparation for the wedding.
INCLEMENT WEATHER CANCELLATIONS:
*It is understood as outdoor events have a certain amount of risk specifically regarding inclement weather; either rain, wind or heat, LABW
cannot guarantee that the weather will be conducive to the wedding event.
* It is up to the couple to call the wedding off at least four hours prior to the scheduled time if weather is an issue. LABW will provide advice
regarding the cancellation however it is ultimately up to the couples discretion and they will responsible for such notice of change to any guests.
LABW accepts no responsibility for guests.
* If wedding is not called off within 4 hours of the wedding by The Wedding Couple and upon arrival to the location, the weather is not
conducive to hold the wedding; ALL FEES will be forfeited as if the wedding had been completed. Any reschedule will require full payment of all
costs and permits fees again.
* All fresh flowers provided by LABW will naturally not be good within 24 hours of the wedding. As LABW purchases the flowers 48 hours in
advance, The Wedding Couple agrees that there will be an additional charge for new flowers in the full and original amount and that such payment
for flowers will be due and payable immediately upon reschedule
* The Wedding Couple agrees and understands that permit fees are NOT transferable to another date and time once they have been issued by the
state.
* Should there be rain or other unforeseen issues that force the wedding to be canceled or changed to another time and or date, LABW will make
every effort to accommodate the new date and time.
* LABW does not provide an alternative indoor location in the event of inclement weather. Couple should arrange an alternative location to hold
the event in this case. * LABW will make every attempt to provide all services at the new location, based upon the management approval at the
other location. LABW cannot guarantee that any other facility will allow this. It is up to the couple make these arrangements and inform LABW of
the alternative location. .
PARKING, TRAFFIC AND TRANSPORTATION:
*Parking is and will always be an issue in any state or city beach and or park location. LABW does not provide parking assistance or valet service
for guests or the wedding party. It is the responsibility of TWC to arrange a shuttle or limo bus for guests and or the wedding party and takes full
responsibility for guests who may not find parking in time for the wedding.
* All parking around state parks and beaches require a parking fee either at a parking lot, structure or metered parking and LABW is not
responsible for this fee. LABW encourages couples to determine what the fee is and make guests aware of the fee in advance of the wedding.
LABW will make every effort to determine and assist couple with this information, however takes no responsibility for the accuracy of such
information.
* Weddings will not be held up due to parking and traffic,. The wedding will begin exactly at the planned time and will not be held up for any
reason.
* If the wedding should not start at the agreed upon time TWC will be charged a waiting fee of not less than $150.00 per vendor required to wait.
* LABW provides certain outdoor wedding locations by special permit from the Federal government or state agencies. The Wedding Couple and
their invited guests will abide by the permit requirements while on public land. The Wedding Couple is responsible for any infractions of the laws
committed by them or their guests.
* It is further understood that the event is being held in a public park or beach and that the spaces are on a first come first serve basis. LABW
cannot guarantee the exact location, privacy, noise or condition of the event.
* LABW will make every attempt to obtain the location specified however reserves the right to move the event to a different location within the
same park or beach.
* LABW will make every attempt to acquire the most pleasing location as discussed but will not be held responsible for other activity on the beach.
* LABW is operated in accordance with the USD policy which prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, sex, age, handicap, familial
partners, religion, and or national origin.
Marriage license refunds and responsibilities
* Marriage licenses are issued using the information applicants provide.
*You are responsible for all the information submitted online for the applications.
*Any mistakes made, either spelling or incorrect dates become your responsibility and may result in an additional charge of 95.00 to be applied to
issue a new license if found incorrect.
*Once license is issued, there are no refunds.
* The notary is not responsible for any errors or omissions or fraudulent statements made on the part of the applicants.
* Double check your applications before submitting for any possible errors.
